365 in '12 - Day 1

I'm embarking on a project that I've heard of other people doing through the interwebs. It's 365 photos in 365 days. I am aiming to take a picture every day for the next year and post it on this blog. That's not to say that I won't cheat once and a while..I may upload an older photo, but my aim is to shoot more, because I truly enjoy it and would like to explore certain ideas and just document the day to day that I experience.

So here we go with day 1 and my first image taken in the Newburyport Market Basket..

I took this while walking around in the strangest light. It was the night that the tornado hit Springfield, MA and there was an eerie green glow to the sky.

My Mesa Boogie guitar amp in the backseat, strapped in on the way back from a trip up to NH. I was testing out a Fender Telecaster and I brought the amp up to the shop in Portsmouth, NH to test it out.

Building 19 Truck

This truck reminded me of Building 19, which I believe are only in Mass. There is one on Rt 9 down the street from Babson that I used to go to during college. It's a store kind of like Christmas Tree Shop or Ocean State Job Lot, but the goods are more quality and great for impulse buyers. I once got a Grateful Dead Terrapin Station shirt there (which I've lost). Good memories..
